Arya Wirawan was born in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Studied in visual communication design, he actually finds himself turning to re-choose the drawing and painting path when he immersed in the world of visual semiotics. He realized the scattered in the symptom of social phenomena and spiritual values ​​that can be mixed implicitly into the new kind of various symbols.

For him, each phenomena has its own unique functional matter as a sign of the times that he is living in, represented in one unity on his visual work which he has done long before he studied visual communication design. His works are mostly inspired by a dream and the spirit of childhood to return to the same spirit and idealism from adult thought.
